What is Tractor operated Transit Mixer?

Usually at a construction site, Concrete needs to be transported from Concrete Production site i.e Concrete Batching plant to Concrete Landing sites. This transportation of concrete is done with Transit Mixers. Generally transit mixer is a Reversible Drum mounted on a Truck used to carry concrete from one place to another. Truck mounted transit mixers are having a capacity to carry 7cuM of concrete at once. Truck Transit mixers are very popular at larger construction sites where concrete production site is very far from construction sites.
But, what if Construction site is not enough large & distance of Concrete Production site is also not far from Concrete Landing sites?
Truck Transit Mixers are not very economical to use due to their higher operational costs. At such sites, Tractor operated Transit Mixers or Mini Transit Mixers plays an important role in execution of projects. Although tractor transit mixers are having smaller concrete carrying capacity but they can even work at congested sites where there is constraint for approach of truck transit mixers.
Driven & operated with tractor's power transmission shaft, tractor transit mixers can easily carry 5cuM of concrete. Tractor Transit Mixer is generally available in 3cuM, 4cuM & 5cuM capacity. Operational Cost of transporting concrete is very economical in Tractor Transit Mixers as there is a huge difference in fuel consumption of Truck & Tractor. Also, maintenance cost of Tractor operated Transit Mixer is very less as compared to Truck Transit mixers.
